Q: |
Are certain pictures better than other for use with Mosaic Wonder? |
| |
A: |
Yes. While Mosaic Wonder does a great job at matching almost any picture, pictures with lots of details are
better candidates than pictures with monotone colors and large surfaces with small variations of details.

Q: |
How many pictures do I need to create a mosaic? |
| |
A: |
Depending on how you set the mosaic options the range of required pictures may vary.
A mosaic that is 32X32 will need 1024 pictures. You can allow Mosaic Wonder to use a picture more than once thus reducing the number of unique pictures needed.
Mosaic Wonder also lets you control how far apart repeating pictures can be placed. In general it is best to have at least twice as many pictures as the size of your grid. In the case of 32X32, your best bet is to have at least 2048 pictures available.

Q: |
I recently paid for Mosaic Wonder and now I see that there is a new version available. Do I have to pay again? |
| |
A: |
No. Within a major version all updates are free. Also, you can get a free upgrade for the next major version.
For example: if you paid for version 2.X all updates through version 3.9 are free. When version 4.0
is released you will have to pay an upgrade fee if you choose to upgrade.
